The Mount Sinai Health System is an integrated health system acclaimed for its excellence in research, patient care, and education across a range of specialties. Encompassing the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, one of the nation.s leading medical schools, and seven hospital campuses throughout New York City, it also has a large regional outpatient care footprint and affiliations with institutions around the nation and the world.

This is the fifth year that Mount Sinai has partnered with the Aspen Ideas Festival, held June 22 to July 1 in Aspen, Colorado. "Mount Sinai is innovating models in coordinated patient care, advancing research on the most debilitating diseases, and educating tomorrow's physicians to be leaders in the new health care reform environment," says Kenneth L. Davis, MD, President and CEO of the Mount Sinai Health System. “We are excited to be a part of the Aspen Ideas Festival where great ideas are advanced.”

The Mount Sinai Health System is designed to improve patient quality and outcomes and expand access to advanced primary, specialty, and ambulatory care services throughout a large clinical network. It includes approximately 7,000 physicians and 10 freestanding ambulatory surgery centers. With more than 430 full- and part-time primary care physicians, clinical teams are able to manage large populations of patients effectively. Mount Sinai also features a robust and continually expanding network of multispecialty services, including more than 140 ambulatory practice locations throughout the five boroughs of New York City, Westchester, and Long Island. It has more than 40 clinical and academic relationships with other local health care organizations.
